Yes, you can download Google Maps, Waze, Tom Tom and any other map apps from the play store. If you have purchased Carplay Dongle with your android screen, your maps will loads directly from your phone.

Yes, as long as it has been fitted correctly, the controller and steering wheel buttons will work as normal and can be used to control the screen installed.

Yes, your original system will remain as it was and you will be able to go in and out of the original system and the screen installed.

You will not lose any functionalities using any of our systems. Everything will remain as it was.

This means the device has not been installed correctly. Make sure all the wiring has been done correctly for your car.

Make sure AUX has been set, AUX has to always be set for the Android screen audio to work. If this is still not working, then you will need to wire in the AUX cable to your car’s AUX port.

You will have to go into the screen factory setting and set the screen resolution for your car.

No, this will remain the same as long as OEM Camera is selected in the Android screen settings.

Yes, this is possible with the Android screen. We strongly recommend that you do not watch an video while driving has this is against the law in the UK.

You can hotspot your phone to the screen and connect via WiFi or you can insert a data sim into the screen to have a constant internet connection on the device.

This can be changed on the Android Screen settings. You can untick Mute of Reverse.

Mobile phone models supporting wireless connection:

Apple:

  • iPhone 5 and above

Android:

  • Any phone with Android 11.0.
  • A Google or Samsung phone with Android 10.0.
  • A Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ or Note 8, with Android 9.0.

Other models of smartphones support wired connection.

Disconnect from the BMW bluetooth and just use the carplay system bluetooth. If this still does not work that means you need to wire in the external mic adapter that is included in the package.

Make sure AUX has been set, AUX has to always be set for the Carplay System audio to work. If this is still not working, then you will need to wire in the AUX cable to your car’s AUX port.

On the settings menu select reverse camera as Aftermarket.

Pay later in 3 will allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each installment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. Payments are interest-free.

Yes, they can. Each purchase is subject to an individual availability assessment. Klarna, Zip and Payment assist has all rights to decline you.

For a better chance of approval, Klarna suggests that the billing address and shipping address must be the same and also avoid using Revolut, Monzo, etc has the billing card for your monthly payments

Klarna, Zip or Payment assist does not charge you any interest or fees on its standard payment options.

This may be due to your credit score and report. You will have to contact Klarna, zip or payment assist depending on the provider you choose, directly to find out why you have been declined. In Car Android have no control over this.

Yes you can. You can pay directly to the engineer after the installation is done.

Yes, you can wire in reverse camera to the systems at a later date.

Yes, all our engineers are available on weekends and evenings till late. Installation time will be arranged and agreed between you and the engineers once purchased.

Android/Carplay Screen and Carplay System take up to 1 hour for installation. With reverse camera can take up to 2 hours.

No, we do not offer home fititng, all fitting are done at our workshop. See location 

Absolutely yes you can. We do offer options to integrate reversing camera with your car existing system. Price varies depending on the model. Do get in contact with us, with your vehicle details for a quote.

Yes we can, we can fit and code it to work just like it will from factory

Yes we do, we offer a standard 12 months warranty, across all our products. However with some products we do offer more than 12 months, this will be highlighted on that specific product page in the product description section.
