We offer BMW iDrive coding to update your system from ID5 to ID6. You can reference the images below to distinguish between EVO ID5 and ID6. Both ID5 and ID6 come with EVO Maps.

To confirm your Firmware Version, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Navigation menu.
2. Press the Options Button.
3. Navigate to Settings.
4. Access Position & Version History.
5. Check your Version.

If you have EVO Maps, your vehicle is equipped with an Evo unit.

Coding via USB: For firmware versions NBTevo_H, I, J, K, L, M, N, and O, you can perform the coding through a USB method. The process is straightforward:

1. We will send you a file via email, along with detailed instructions.
2. Save the file to a USB flash drive.
3. Insert the USB drive into your vehicle’s armrest USB port.
4. Your Navigation unit will reboot, completing the coding process.

Coding via ENET Cable: For firmware versions NBTevo_P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, coding is achieved through a remote coding session. You will require the following:

• An ENET cable (not included and but available for purchase from us).
• A laptop with Windows 8, 10, or 11, with the firewall and antivirus turned off.
• TeamViewer software installed.
• A stable internet connection.

The entire process takes just 10 minutes and does not demand any advanced computer or coding skills.
